Budweiser / Crown the Night

Our friends at UNR and Anomaly brought us on to grade Crown the Night, a high-energy Budweiser spot directed (and cut) by Sean McLeod for both U.S. and European markets—plus an extended director’s cut.

The challenge? Balancing the hyper-saturated red LEDs with a grounded night-time feel. “Using gamut compression, I was able to roll off the LEDs and give them a deeper tone”

Graded entirely via remote sessions on our cloud-based system, the project gave us room to push the creative and technical boundaries—thanks to a fearless team and a bold brief.

And yes, the final round ended with a cold one. Cheers. 🍻
